Waiting Room Quiet Beads of soft pineWaiting Room Quiet by ~Lucie-Wojaick
Reshaped and painted up pretty,
Pierced and trapped by twisted wire.
Played with by mute children;
Whose shrieks of play are suppressed by
The sublime discomfort
Of waiting room quiet.
Frightened children.
Listless children.
Cranky impatient children who just want to go home.
They come and play by the dozens,
Then go home to the toys they love.
Leaving our hero alone on the
Lego-top table
With the motherless dolls.
